I am a curious and motivated student with a broad interest in marketing, personal development, and entrepreneurship. While I used to be quite introverted, over the past few years I’ve grown into a more social and confident person who collaborates easily and isn’t afraid to take initiative.

During my studies, I have worked on several practical projects in collaboration with real companies. These experiences have allowed me to apply marketing, research, and sales strategies in real-world settings. A few examples include:

  • Trendwatching: Conducted a trend analysis to identify future developments relevant to the market.

  • Canyon: Researched and developed strategic recommendations to improve the long-term resilience of the company.

  • Estivant: Investigated consumer behavior and preferences to support marketing decisions.

  • Fortune Coffee: Created a detailed sales plan tailored to the company’s goals and market position.

  • Twelve: Prepared and conducted sales meetings as part of a practical sales training project.

  • XXL Nutrition: Analyzed marketing data to draw insights and advise on a suitable marketing activity.

(2024 - 2025) Internship – Nabuurs B.V.

November 2024 – January 2025

During this internship I contributed to various commercial and marketing activities within the company. I gained practical experience in social media marketing, and further developed my professional skills in a dynamic business environment.

(2020 - 2022) Bachelor Sportkunde

Throughout my studies, I have been involved in various practical projects that helped me develop both professionally and personally. These included:

  • Conducting interviews to gather insights for research and reflection.

  • Guiding and coaching individuals in a sports context to support personal development and physical activity.

  • Personal development projects focused on leadership, communication, and self-reflection.

  • Organizing a sports day for a secondary school, including planning, coordination, and execution.

(2021 - 2022) Internship – Maastricht sport

Maastricht

As part of the second year of my Sports Studies program, I completed a practical internship focused on teaching and organizing physical activities.

 

During this internship, I:

  • Learned how to teach and guide groups in a sports setting

  • Created action plans and prepared structured lessons and activities

  • Organized and facilitated sports and play activities

  • Worked with primary school children during recess, promoting active play and social interaction

 

This experience helped me grow in lesson planning, communication, and leadership within a real-life educational environment.

Work experience

While I am still building my professional experience within my field of study, I have gained valuable skills through various part-time jobs. These roles have helped me develop strong communication, teamwork, and time management abilities. I am eager to apply what I’ve learned in future opportunities related to my studies and career goals.

Below is an overview of my part-time work experience so far.

Jumbo Supermarket

2018 - present

In this role, I was responsible for supervising and coordinating colleagues in the fresh produce department. I ensured that daily tasks were completed efficiently and maintained high-quality standards. Additionally, I gained valuable insights into the ordering and delivery processes, helping to keep stock levels accurate and the department running smoothly.

Het Zomerkoninkje

2015 - 2018

This part-time job primarily involved picking strawberries, trimming branches and planting seedlings. Through this role, I developed attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

Driving licence

I hold both an AM and a B driving license, which means I am qualified to operate mopeds, light quadricycles, and passenger cars. Having a valid driving license allows me to be flexible and independent when it comes to commuting and travel, which is an asset for both work and personal responsibilities.
